Kamusiime Winnie Foundation Uganda is a National Nonprofit making organization registered in Uganda with the Non Government Organizations Board (NGOs) that aims at doing Charity in Uganda in the following area of interest; Poverty Alleviation by breaking poverty cycle in families, Improving and promoting Education by reducing illiteracy levels through offering education sponsorships and scholarships to some students, schools, and organized communities, advocate and care for the girl child by extending a helping hand to curb early pregnancies which leads to school early school drop outs, to give hope to child mothers by empowering them economically, to promote youth livelihood programs and community development through family capacity building.

Even though Government of Uganda has formulated a number of strategic plans to address the levels of poverty and illiteracy, statistics still show that many Ugandans still live below poverty line due to escalating poor family back grounds, teenage pregnancies and vulnerability of a girl child still hold big gaps in the country. The country score card for Uganda [World Economic Forum 2017] shows that 95.1 females are enrolled in primary education but only 21.3 are enrolled in secondary education and further less, only 4.2 are enrolled in tertiary institutions. This indicates that there’s need for additional support and recognition of looping areas in education to well equip and empower poor families especially the girl child.
Is create a leveled ground for all to compete favorably in education by attaining a life skill that can help someone to increase their household Income and breaking poverty circle in these communities, creating awareness on the dangers to the girl child on the dangers of early sexual relations, counseling services to the child mothers who are already victims, encouraging them to enroll back in school after birth and training entrepreneual skills to those out of school for financial support.

Enhance to increase the enrollment and retention of students who come from poor families to attain quality education within the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of education and attaining a life skill that can help them support their families and community through education sponsorships.
Educational centers. Establishing educational centers to equip the youth with life skills to increase the household incomes
Link development practitioners and students to communities to learn and gain hands on experience in supporting community based development projects while fostering positive community outcomes
Family Capacity building through hands on trainings and entrepreneurship development projects
Build a network of development students, professionals, Persons and institutions to advocate for promotion of community based development
The Kamusiime Foundation has a plan of establishing Kamusiime training centre for short courses to give community hands-on life skills for future sustainability.
